Human sacrifice to save the world
An off-shoot of Judaism, Christianity also believes in one god, but believes that a Messiah has come to save the world and grant redemption from eternal damnation and suffering to those who believe. One of the ‘big 3′ this religion has come to dominate the thinking of the majority of the Western World, owing to the success of missionaries and the pervasiveness of the memes throughout the culture.
Being one of the dominant religions of the world has quite a history, although it is not the oldest, by far. Many of the stories contained within the doctrine were taken from much, much older cultures and adapted to serve the agenda of the religious leaders.
The Christian religious texts, like most others, are written in a code heavy with symbolism and allegory that the flock of sheep
are not meant to understand, being given only the exoteric doctrine.
Learning the meanings of the symbols and the code language and then re-reading the texts reveals a much different picture that empowers rather than imprisons the mind and spirit. This section contains interesting documents about the religion, history, and even the “lost” books of the bible – the ones that didn’t make it into the canon because they did not further the agenda of control and subjugation.

Sumerian Hymns and Prayers to God Dumu-Zi
Preface to Sumerian Hymns and Prayers to God Dumu-Zi
The so-called Dumuzi or Tamuz texts must be divided into two classes: 1) those in which Ishtar and her maidens bewail the "absent" or "dead" Dunluzi and 2) those which celebrate Dumuzi's resurrection or wedding. Several specimens of the latter class may be found among the tablets of the Nippur Temple Library. One of them is published and translated in the "Hilprecht Anniversary Volume", p. 391...Misquoting Jesus
For almost 1,500 years, the New Testament manuscripts were copied by hand––and mistakes and intentional changes abound in the competing manuscript versions. In Misquoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why, religious and biblical scholar Bart Ehrman makes the provocative case that many of our widely held beliefs concerning the divinity of Jesus, the Trinity, and the divine origins of the Bible itself are the results...The Messiah Before Jesus
Knohl's chief claim is "Jesus was the heir and successor of the Messiah of Qumran." The latter is described in two hymns in fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Knohl argues that he was a certain Menachem, a friend and supporter of Herod who was removed from his position of leadership in the Jewish community when he made his messianic aspirations public after Herod's death. Knohl includes the hymns in an appendix, along with discussion of the i...Lectures on the Symbolic Character of the Sacred Scripture
The Christian world knows that certain things in the Bible are symbols of Spiritual things. For instance, it is known that the land of Canaan stands for a heavenly state of Hie. But it has not been known that the whole Bible, in every least part, is symbolic of spiritual things. Every person, place and thing, every historical event, ritual of worship, yea, every word of both the Old and New Testaments, contains a deeper spiritual sense or meaning...The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross
Where did God come from? What do the bible stories really tell us? Who or what was Jesus Christ? This book challenges everything we think we know about the nature of religion: The ancient fertility cult at the heart of Christianity; The living power of cultic rites and symbols; The sacred mushroom as the emblem and embodiment of divinity; The secret meaning of biblical myths; and The language of religion that links us to our ancestors The Sac...Masonry and Medieval Mysticism
The series of sketches which are now brought together appeared originally as detached articles in the pages of the Theosophical Review, written, however, with the object of demonstrating to students of Theosophy that a definite design could be traced beneath the apparently disconnected mystic doctrines held by the many occult brotherhoods, heretic sects and mystic associations which cluster so thickly together as we glance along the historical ...
