Beginning with the Sumerians, man has studied the stars and found constellations, equating them with many esoteric principles and knowledge, this was developed into a system of divination and explanation of natural human traits.
As the position of the constellations changed according to the procession of the equinoxes, astrology split into two methods – Tropical and Sidereal. Tropical still follows the constellations as they were and is therefore not aligned with actual astronomy, and is what most people know. Sidereal follows the constellations as they actually are and is therefore astronomically correct, but is less known.

In a time when astrological analysis can begin within seconds of an on-screen click, we do not often consider the methods that were previously used to individually calculate a chart as correctly and simply as possible. This text contains the fundamental processes of attaining astrological data so that we may understand and benefit from this tradition which grants us infinite knowledge, reflection, and growth. Concise, descriptive, at times even poetic, Simplified Scientific Astrology includes instructions and examples on accurately determining planetary positions for a given time and location, and demonstrates an organized method of indexing to derive overall conditions and effects. The second, extensive portion of the book is an encyclopedia of astrological terms which defines these distinctly and lucidly. The work of this master of Astrology is complemented through this elegantly restored volume. Within these pages, Max Heindel succinctly elaborates the procedures of astrological calculation and the integral concepts of this tremendous discipline.

Divinatory geomancy has its roots in Arabic sand divination, which appears also in various guises as African divination systems on the West Coast (ifa and fa) and Madagascar (sikidy). The first chapter considers their history in outline, while the subsequent chapters consider the varying techniques of interpretation in each area in detail.

Many have heard of Astrology and Astronomy. But few there are in the west today that have heard of their parent subject - Astrotheology. We insist that this is not by chance. We as individuals, instead of constantly looking powerlessly forward to hypothetical futures for our truths, must begin revisiting the roots of culture, religion and government. In today’s society we are always searching for excellence and perfection. We speak about the prestige of being “original” and we admire those who are. But the word original connotes origins, which connotes the ability to – go back to the roots.

With the aid of this complete astrology course I aim to eliminate a lot of ballast, matters that have been carried in text books that are absolutely useless and that makes anyone discouraged. The method explained herein is simple and, if followed carefully, should give the desired results. Practically all that is contained herein is of my own production and the student who has delved already into other text books should find this method so radically different that there is hardly a comparison possible.
